Cedric Delabrooke came on this scene as a brash upstart whose ideals seem well grounded in the human experience. Of courses these humans often come in the buff. But, Delabrooke's style, flamboyance and humor are all found on display in his work. And he can be funny.
All of this craziness began in 1991, when Delabrooke and another local artist began to display their work at shows all across the East Coast. Since that time, he has refined his technique and continues to show. Much of what he shows is often considered a lot. Women are his usual subjects and they usually leave little to the imagination. Delabrooke often looks defensive when someone describes his work as baudry. To him, it's romance. He spends the majority of his time on finding the right pose, the right look. It takes him considerably less time to actually render it.
