The Bauer Publications Teen Group Announces Winners at iPOP! Convention For Young Actors, Singers, Dancers and Models in Las Vegas
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 23, 2008 -- iPOP! (International Presentation of Performers) a top tier talent convention on the talent circuit and a must-go-to event for any talented child, teenager or young adult who can act, sing, model or dance took place this year in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel from June 30 to July 3, 2008. Agents, managers and talent scouts were on hand to audition these lucky iPOP! participants. Representatives from Bauer Publishing Teen Group and its popular teen magazine, J-14, were on stage during the awards night to announce some of the top winners in the competitive acting, modeling, dancing and singing competitions.
Four iPOP! winners will be seen in a full page advertisement in J-14 Magazine's October 2008 issue. The first award announced by Bauer Publishing's Angie Niemeyer went to one of iPOP!'s top singers, Malika Sanders who is from Dallas' John Robert Powers School System. Ms. Sanders won a recording demo contract with Big Management's music producer, Mike Rizzo. iPOP! will fly Malika Sanders to New York City to record with Mike Rizzo in Times Square. The iPOP! top model from John Robert Powers Tucson, Jules Doolittle won a $100,000 contract with iModel modeling agency and the top iPOP! actor also from Dallas' John Robert Powers was Kristi Lee Hair. Ms. Hair won an acting management contract with Los Angeles based Brown Leader Management. The top iPOP! dancer announced by Bauer Publishing's Ms. Niemeyer was Chicago John Robert Powers student Mikka Olarte. Ms. Olarte will win dance choreography workshop sessions with dance sensation, Jeff Costa from Nike Star Fitness who is based in Los Angeles.
In addition to J-14, The Bauer Publishing Teen Group also publishes popular teen magazines Twist, M Magazine, Twist, Astro Girl and Quiz Fest. The Bauer Publishing booth at iPOP! was buzzing with excitement and high energy as iPOP! participants had their photos taken with a J-14 blow up magazine cover with cut-outs for teen faces. iPOP! attendees also got the chance to enter a J-14/iPOP! sweepstakes in which four lucky winners were called up on stage at the iPOP! awards show and photographed backstage. These photos will be featured as well in the upcoming J-14 Magazine October 2008 issue.
