Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Launches Northwest Florida Franchise
Outdoor Lighting Perspectives (OLP), a global architectural and landscape lighting company, has launched its newest franchise in Inverness, Fla. The operation, owned by Kevin and Erin McDonough, will serve clients in Hernando, Sumter, Marion and Citrus counties of Northwest Florida.
OLP of Northwest Florida will join 80 other OLP owner-dealers worldwide, offering artistic landscape and architectural lighting for home and commercial applications, ranging from façades, decks and patios to gardens, trees and pools.
McDonough, who has a background in electrical work and landscaping, learned about OLP from his wife's parents, who installed an OLP lighting system at their home in the Boston area. McDonough was impressed by the company's innovative approach and professionalism and immediately decided to pursue the opportunity to become a franchisee.
"OLP is a high-end national brand offering the finest outdoor lighting products available in the marketplace today," McDonough said. "I have also been impressed with the company's commitment to marketing, ongoing training and education and sales support."
McDonough sees Northwest Florida as an ideal location for outdoor lighting services because of the growing residential development in the area as well as the mild weather and diverse landscapes that lend themselves to a lifestyle centered on the outdoors.
"Outdoor lighting is the perfect way for local residents to highlight their home's architecture, contribute to safety and security and extend their outdoor living hours," McDonough said. "Homeowners can expect artistic and environmentally-sensitive outdoor lighting designs that will help bring their homes and landscaping to life."
OLP lighting specialists follow the company's proprietary lighting process to assure homeowner satisfaction. Trained installers provide complimentary consultations during which they set temporary lights at dusk so that homeowners can see exactly how the lighting installation will look and make any adjustments.
After a homeowner's approval, installers place the permanent system, which includes fixtures crafted from corrosion-resistant brass and copper and backed by a 10-year warranty. OLP dealers also offer ongoing system maintenance, including a complimentary first year of service and an annual maintenance plan which includes inspection, bulb replacement and adjustment of fixtures for landscaping growth.
