J.J. Hollis, who?s a former celebrity photographer, acquired Hot Rayz Limousines only a month ago, but his annual tradition of giving to FLORIDA TODAY's Reaching Out fund is nothing new. Hollis says he thinks it's "a wonderful cause."
Hollis has a long history as a businessman in Brevard County. The founder of JJ's Limousines, he sold it five years ago, ventured into a real estate and contracting business with his uncle, Robert Fox, then decided to acquire Hot Rayz Limousines at the request of friends and loved ones. "The quality of service was not what it used to be, and my objective was to bring back the quality of service," he says.
Along with believing in quality customer service, he's also a believer in FLORIDA TODAY's outreach programs. With his former business, he gave annually to the Reaching Out Fund and sponsored the Newspapers in Education program, which provides newspapers as part of the curriculum to local classrooms.
He plans to pick up where he left off and give to local charities.
