A recent online poll asking golfers how many golf training aids they had used revealed some interesting facts.

32% of the respondents said they had never used a golf training aid. And fully 68% of them said to they had only ever used one or two golf training aid. Only 29% of the respondents said they had ever helped their game by using a golf training aid. And more than half of those who did so had only ever tried one or two different devices.

Can you imagine the New York Giants football team never using a blocking sled or a tackling dummy? And can you imagine the New York Yankees forgetting to bring fungo baseball bats to spring training? Or deciding not to buy any baseball pitching machines for their hitters to hone their skills? It simply wouldn't happen in a professional environment.
