California Spa Professional Chosen to Serve on a Task Force for the International Spa Association
Sunset Beach, CA (PRWEB) October 11, 2007 -- Terry Carter, founder and CEO of Travertine Spa, is a member of the 2007-2008 Membership Implementation Task Force for the International SPA Association.
ISPA's membership is comprised of more than 3,000 health and wellness facilities and providers from 75 countries. Travertine Spa is a manufacturer of luxury spa products and yoga apparel.
As a member of the Task Force, Carter will review the courses that ISPA offers, including the Certified Spa Supervisor course, Retail Management for Spas, and the new online Risk Management course.
"ISPA provides an international voice and education to the spa profession. As a member of the spa industry, it is an honor to serve as a Task Force member," said Carter. He brings valuable experience to the position, having worked in international corporate law and for a Fortune 500 Company. Carter, an American, also speaks French and Japanese.
