PMC Homes Founder Named Life Director of National Association of Home Builders
Tulsa, Okla. (PRWEB) July 20, 2007 -- Steve Harris, founder and owner of PMC Homes in Bixby, Okla., has been designated as a Life Director of the National Association of Home Builders at the spring Board of Directors meeting in Washington, D.C. Harris has been an active member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa for 17 years, serving as president of the local organization in 1999, and as director at the national and local levels.
Life Directors are elected by the NAHB Board of Directors, and have permanent voting privileges on the board. Harris was recommended by the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa, after serving 10 years as a voting director and attending at least two national board meetings per year.
The Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa is a group of more than 1,000 businesses that provide a variety of services for the residential building or remodeling industry. Professional members must meet a number of stringent requirements, including customer and professional references, insurance certification, and adherence to a strict code of ethics.

A graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla., he and his wife Norma reside in Tulsa and have three grown children.
