House of Tears Design Purchases Prime Real Estate to Support Rapid Growth
Kansas City, Mo. (PRWeb) February 2, 2007 -- House of Tears Design, a progressive graphic and Web design firm, providing comprehensive solutions to brand development, recently purchased 1,425 square feet of office space near the River Market at 522 Locust Street, Suite 104, Kansas City, Mo.
The relocation, which is more than twice the square footage of the company's former office in Westport, Mo., was necessary to accommodate the company's rapid growth. House of Tears Design added more than 30 clients to their client base in 2006, which resulted in a 60 percent jump in gross revenue. This growth came after a 100 percent increase in revenue in 2004 and a 65 percent hike in 2005.
Curt Cuscino, principal of House of Tears Design, says he chose the new location to position the company for future expansion. "After two and a half years in the same building, we simply outgrew it and needed a change," Cuscino said. "We selected the River Market area because we felt it was the right environment to bolster our firm's presence in Kansas City, as well as support the high-end image we portray in our work. This urban area is exploding, and we want to be a part of the energy and excitement that's occurring here."
House of Tears Design provides a comprehensive solution to brand development, including print and Web design for clients. "We pride ourselves on being a strategically driven design firm," Cuscino said. "That means we not only concern ourselves with what we are designing for our clients, but ask ourselves why are we are designing it. Every project is unique and every project requires a unique perspective."
Cuscino credits the quality of his staff as the reason the company is growing exponentially. "Every employee has lived or traveled abroad," he said. "This is why our work depicts a global design influence. Our designers adapt many different design styles, which allow us to excel in our industry, drawing critical and distinguished attention to progressive design in many different realms of the media," Cuscino said. "We have the ability to create timeless materials for clients who want to distinguish themselves from their competitors, rather than trying to emulate them."
House of Tears Design works with a diverse mix of clients, ranging from arts and entertainment to fashion industries and luxury items. The firm also works in conjunction with several advertising agencies to develop their media strategies. The progressive firm recently wrapped up the design and development of a promotional website for the feature-length film, "Godhead," produced by Blurgirl Productions. The website is www.godheadthemovie.com.
Rossana Jeran, a Kansas City-based filmmaker and owner of Blurgirl Productions, said she chose House of Tears Design because they listened to what she had to say and worked with her to ensure that her vision became a reality. "It turned out exactly as I had pictured, and I am thrilled with the result," said Jeran.
House of Tears Design takes great pride in utilizing leading-edge technology to better convey each client's message. Cuscino says his passion is studying the collision between art and technology and finding a middle ground to make something that is well-designed and beautiful and can effectively communicate the intended message. Two such sites that illustrate this, www.sleightadvertising.com and www.bluebikegear.com, project depth by utilizing a subtle, three-dimensional graphics approach.
But perhaps the biggest advantage that House of Tears Design provides is consistency and cost-savings. "We not only develop a brand for clients, but we carry that branding throughout everything we produce, so the client's message is never lost in translation," explained Cuscino. "At the end of the day, we save our clients time and money by producing everything they need to maintain a consistent image. We can do it all."
House of Tears Design is a progressive graphic and Web design firm, providing comprehensive solutions to brand development. The company represents a diverse mix of clients that include corporate, arts and entertainment, fashion and luxury items. The design firm's timeless approach to brand identity incorporates a wide-range of design styles from around the world.
